OC Green Market will re-open in 2014 as a mini eco-festival traveling to different parks and areas of Orange County. Stay tuned for more details!

What You’ll find at OC Green Market

OC Green Market strives to be your source for high quality products with both local vendors and national brands.

All goods for sale must be one or more of the following:

eco-friendly, organic, natural, made from sustainable, recycled, renewable or re-purposed materials, Fair Trade; made by artisans in the Global South and supporting their villages or empowering them to rise above poverty by selling their crafts

Services must be eco-friendly, natural, holistic, complimentary or alternative therapies.

Non-profit organizations must be related to green or holistic living, animal welfare, alternative health, sustainability, energy conservation, environmental protection, wildlife protection, re-using, re-purposing, recycling and other similar categories.

Once customer attendance is sufficient, food like organic/biodynamic fruits and vegetables, raw honey, packaged foods, hot and cold prepared foods for more breakfast and lunch options, foods with special dietary needs such as organic/vegan/gluten free, etc. will be added. And we’ll have more food trucks!

Our Mission

I created OC Green Market because while Orange County is rich in Certified Farmer’s Markets, there are no markets where consumers can purchase eco-conscious products and services in a “one stop shop”. The mission of OC Green Market is not only to provide a location for local merchants to sell a variety of green products and services, but to also raise awareness of holistic, alternative and complimentary medical therapies that consumers may not be aware exist. Education on how to live environmentally friendly and healthy lives will be provided by local non-profit organizations.

 

As we all know, by choosing to buy “local,” we strengthen the fabric of our community, supporting family-run businesses and farms, reducing our pollution and by creating local jobs. Buying “local” further supports our local economy by keeping our spent dollars here in Orange County… not Wall Street!

 

The vision for OC Green Market is to become a destination for families and individuals to shop local, attend various events, eat delicious food, listen to uplifting music and enjoy another event in their community!
